How long does it take to get connected?

Usually within 1 day of your order being accepted. It takes longer if equipment is missing at your property or an installation is needed.

Do I get a modem, and can I use my own?

You can get a free MyOwn Tel Wi-Fi modem with a 12-month plan, or buy one. Our modems arrive fully configured: just turn it on and connect. You can also bring your own modem. We'll email you the settings before you connect, but support for your own device is best effort, as we can't guarantee every device works on our network.
